Prevent Eye Fatigue and Headaches

Many people experience eye fatigue and headaches due to excessive screen time and poor lighting conditions. However, there are several steps you can take to prevent and alleviate these discomforts.

Maintain a comfortable viewing distance to reduce eye strain. Experts suggest keeping your computer monitor or device at least an arm's length away from your face. This helps reduce the focusing effort required by your eyes.

Another important factor to consider is proper lighting. Avoid working or using screens in overly bright or dimly lit environments. Make sure the lighting in the room is balanced, preferably with soft, non-glare lighting.

Blink regularly to keep your eyes moist and prevent dryness. Staring at screens for long periods can cause decreased blinking, leading to dry, irritated eyes. Remember to take regular breaks and consciously blink your eyes several times to keep them lubricated.

Adjust your screen settings to reduce blue light emission. Blue light emitted by screens can cause eye strain and disrupt your sleep patterns. Use a blue light filter or enable the night mode feature on your devices, especially in the evening.
