Do you ever feel strain, fatigue, or discomfort in your eyes after prolonged screen time or reading? One possible solution to alleviate these symptoms is by improving your eye movements. In this blog post, we will discuss techniques and exercises to enhance your eye coordination and vision.
One helpful technique is the 20-20-20 rule. Every 20 minutes, take a 20-second break and look at something 20 feet away. This minimizes eye strain caused by long-term focus on close-up objects.
Another exercise is called the pencil push-up. Hold a pencil vertically in front of your face and focus on the eraser as you slowly move it towards your nose. Stop when you can no longer keep the eraser in focus, and then move the pencil back out while maintaining focus. Repeat this exercise several times a day to improve convergence and eye coordination.
Blinking exercises are also beneficial for eye health. Blinking helps to lubricate the eyes and reduce dryness. To perform this exercise, close your eyes tightly for a few seconds and then open them wide. Repeat this process several times to moisturize your eyes and maintain optimal eye health.
